GLAMOROUS Vintage 1940s Lacy PEACH SATIN LOUNGE PYJAMA Set LINGERIE

Fabulous vintage 1940s / early 1950s 2 piece pyjama lingerie set made of a soft & glossy, lightweight satin (most likely rayon) in a pretty pastel peach colour accented with a sheer cotton floral lace in a contrasting ecru colour. The sleeveless tunic style top has a small Mandarin collar, buttonfront opening and lace trimmed arm openings as well as across the tiny side slits at the hem of the top. The matching bottoms are ankle length with a fitted high waist complete with side button closure, pleating detail and wide cut legs. Both pieces are unlined. MEASUREMENTS: Created by the Frederic's label, there are no size labels ... the bust measures 37 inches laid flat (and therefore fits a size 32 or 34 bust best), the waist measures 39 inches laid flat and the top is 23.5 inches in length. Bottoms ... the fitted waist fits 23 inches (the button could easily be moved to add another 1 - 1.5 inches to the waist), hips measure 46 inches and the PJ bottoms are 40 inches long (the inseam is 25.5 inches and the hem of each leg is 10 inches across). There is no stretch to the fabric. As always, remember to leave room for you when using these measurements to determine fit. CONDITION: Very slight wear ... very good to excellent condition.
